MOVING MAP AND FLIGHT PLANNING FUNCTIONS
The Moving Map displays aeronautical charts as background, interactive waypoints, airspaces and planned route. Plan and edit with the Flight Planning function, directly from the moving map or by searching the waypoint’s database. The planned route will be displayed on the moving together with further information such as next point distance, track, heading and many more.
APPROACH CHARTS
The georeferenced approach charts are designed for maximum visibility. Displaying now also in the 3D view, they provide increase awareness of your surroundings during take-off and landing.
AERONAUTICAL CHARTS, PROFILE VIEW AND 3D VIEW

AUTOMATIC LOGBOOK, FLIGHT PLAN AND BRIEFING
The Logbook uses GPS information, and is automatic and fully editable. It can be shared via email or via the integrated webserver. Create different files, like the Operational Flight Plan or the NOTAMs Briefing, that will help you document your flight and follow your plan as you communicate with Air Traffic Services. Region discrimination like most apps anyway

This app is amazing if you live in a first world well developed country. I used it through out my training in south Africa and for that I give it 5 starts however when I moved back to Kenya map options are limited and the only available ONC chart is from the 1970s hence lacks a lot of current information. Developers should consider adding more maps for such said countries

Disappointing support

I am a paying customer of the app, support is virtually useless, the app basically only support a few external devices for ahrs and ads-b. When i asked for support with the one (Stratux) i use which btw is one of the most used in the world the denied support and sent me to the public forums where the device is hacked to emulate one of the few that airnavigator pro at the expense ofmissing barometer altitude and other features. Really dissapointing for a service that i am paying almost 100 usd per year. Batman arkham origins glitch fix downloader windows 10. I do not recommend it and when renewal time comes will look for an alternative like Foreflight.

There’s Better Out There. For Free

If you need terrain awareness, this app does it well. Very pricey, and misleading when it comes to what’s offered for initial subscription. App usage is clunky and not very intuitive. Every feature add-on requires a separate subscription. Example. you have to pay $.99 for each flight plan(yes each, not to enable the function, but for each), need charts and access to procedures such as airport diagrams, approaches, those are all separate subscriptions, in addition to paying the basic subscription rate. I purchased a subscription, and have since turned off auto-renewal.

AirNav RadarBox is a Windows PC software and hardware package which allows appropriately equipped aircraft to be seen on a simulated radar screen.^[1][2][3] A small receiver connects to the PC via USB and aircraft are detected using the small supplied antenna. By decoding ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast) transmissions from aircraft, those aircraft are displayed on a computer in a similar display to that used by Air Traffic Control. Flight number, aircraft type, altitude, heading, speed are visible and updated every second. The RadarBox system can be used at any location, either as a stand-alone system, or connected to the Internet which allows additional functions. An internal map database provides 3D multi-window maps with worldwide coverage and geographic points which include airports, runways, VOR, NDB, Fixes, cities, roads, airways and elevation data.

When the PC running the RadarBox software is connected to the Internet, the RadarBox Network function is available. This allows viewing of data received by other RadarBox users all over the world. Network data is delayed by 5 minutes by default, but real-time Network data is also available.

Screen Display - User Interface[edit]

The screen consists of two major sections, the 'radar' map and the tabbed information area. The map can be scrolled and zoomed using the mouse to view any area on the Earth's surface. Aircraft symbols and associated data blocks show flight information which includes aircraft type, registration and altitude. The information area allows viewing of aircraft lists for both live and network aircraft and gives access to other functions which include Alerting and Fleetwatch displays.

Radarbox 3D[edit]

RadarBox is also optionally available with a 3D and 2D map display based on Google Earth mapping.
