A Windows 98 Startup Disk is a considerable improvement on that produced by earlier versions of Windows, not least because it contains a number of generic, real-mode ATAPI CD-ROM and SCSI drivers that allow CD-ROM devices to become available when running Windows 98 from the Startup Disk. TheUSB 2.0 4+1 port / 2+1 port PCI adds extra external and extra internal high- speed USB 2.0 ports to your system. It supports high-speed (480Mbps), full-speed. (12Mbps), and low-speed (1.5 Mbps) data transfer modes. High-speed USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 backward support enable this host adapter to work.
Available in this download are drivers for VIA USB 2.0 host controller on a system running on Windows 98/98SE/Me.
